Default n2o master control switch panel

Has anyone installed a switch panel in their ashtray, or elsewhere, that can accomodate the following on a C5:

Arming switch
Purge button/switch (momentary switch)
Remote Bottle Openers (2 bottles left and right needed)
Remore Bottle Heaters (2 bottles left and right needed)
Line lock switch

Did you use a switch panel from Moroso or ARC?

It has to be very easy to reach strapped in a 5 pt harness.

Bill

I have a panel that would do. Was made for me by Barry up at ARE. I'll see if I can find a better pic of it. Mine has enough toggle switches for what you described only I wouldn't put the line lock switch on that panel. I would put it on the gearshift lever (a doorbell-like switch around the shaft of the gear shift lever just under the shift ****) If you claim the pic in this message and blow it up, you can see the linelock switch as well as the NOS panel. I have arming switch, remote bottle opener, bottle heater and purge switch plus 2 additional toggle switches for extra front driving lights and a major strobe kit. :D

There is still enough clearance to close the cover. If you want other pics, holler and I'll look for them.

Good luck with your design.

Snowman,

Absolutely, if you've got some more pics that would be great. I'm pretty set on the configuration of the switches (except for the line lock, your idea makes sense). How are you using the line lock (or are you) when staged?

TIA

Here is another pic I found. You can clearly see the linelok switch (the button is red) and see the edge of the panel...it screws in on 2 corners. The red handle on the passenger side of tranmission tunnel is for underhood halon fire system.

Nitrous Express makes a very nice switchpanel, custom made for the C5 ashtray, that does what you are looking for..

Nevrenuf has a set of switches that light up which I think are pretty cool particularly for running on the street at night. I don't know if you could get as many switches as you want in that space though. Tom do you have a pic of your setup?

Not a great pic but here you go... PS, the wires you can see have been moved, the install is very clean..

Left switch is arm, open, close. Center is bottle warmer, Right is purge. Both Left and Center switches light up when "on" and dim with dash lights.

I recently bought one of NX's new switch panels, custom fit for the C5... I havent' installed it yet but here is a pic.....

Cool. thanks for the pics. I've got to figure out how to handle 6 switchs with two bottles. I "think" I can do pretty much the same thing with some small rocker switches from Radio Shack. Might have to use some relays because of current draw though.
