Driving back from Bowling Green, my ABS light came on and message to service came up. Stayed on until I shut off car and then didn't come back on. I have a 02 with 60,000 miles. just had a variety of items replaced at Chevy dealer — window module, headlight module, door lock module. Seat belt having issues but not constant.
Car is now acting very weird. The other day as I was driving to work, at 45mph, it shut off totally and immediately restarted itself. no messages other than when it came back on, odometer was showing which I do not usually have anything on my display and on the HUD now showed Oil instead of gas which I usually view.
Later that day I went to start it and on first turn of ignition, I had nothing but was ok the second time. But this time clock was off by about 1/2 hour and again the odometer and oil pressure showed. checked battery connections and seemed to correct.
The next day, again I turned the key and nothing happened. again wiggled battery connections and started.
i ran the codes and didn't see the C1214 but had quite a few of some others. not sure what B and U codes are. Had those with the A1-RDCH and A0-LDCM. Only C code was C1287 for 28-TCS.
I love my corvette but can't have a vehicle which may leave me stranded, can anyone help me? i am concerned about dealership and problems showing up after I spent $1400 with them, maybe something is loose? any suggestions? Don't really want to let them work on it again not to mention cost!
This problem doesn't happen all the time, I just never know when it will.

 

You'll probably end up having to get a new battery. Definitely sounds like battery failure to me.
