So, My lights dim...but also:
I get the headlight dimming when there is a draw on the battery, but I get a snapping sound from the front speaker(s) as well. Sounds like a short that just occurs and then goes away... Don't get it each time I hit the brakes but most of the time. anyone else had this? Should i worry about it? thanks for any suggestions.

No audio upgrades and the batt is probably three years old...It's at least the second battery as the car is an '03. Have checked the batt for tightness and checked some of the grounds but I don't know where the ground for the radio is located. thanks for the reply. The stock cables should suffice for stock set-ups, right? Dave P.S. No codes

Check your battery cables for tightness and corrosion. You should NOT be able to turn them by hand. Only torque to 11 ft-lbs, overtorquing is one of primary reasons side terminal batteries leak (and your computer is under the battery).
