Default exhaust removal?

What is the easiest way to get the stock mufflers off of a 99 c5? I allready have the exhaust unbolted and hanging there I just cannot seem to get it up and over the axle. All I have is a jack and ramps. Any help please.

If its the stock exhaust you have to unbolt the rear stabilizer bar and get it way up in the air to pull the system through. If you dont mind cutting up your stock exhaust just get a hack saw or sawsaw and cut at the bend in the pipe going in to the muffler. Drop the muffler out of the way and you should be able to pull the rest through with it just on ramps..........

There are many threads about this, do a quick search and you'll find em. You have to get the rear of the car off the ground at least 30- 36 inches and also unbolt the rear sway bar and let it hang down. Do the quick search. Good luck.
Give me a pm if you need more help. Jim

I did do the search on the forum on this chore. And after I took the swaybar off. I decided to just go ahead and cut the stock exhaust since I had no way of getting the car high enough. I finally finished but I cant seem to get the one side away from the bottom of the car enough so that the tips do not touch black plastic thing where the middle plate is. I guess I will just have to do a little adjusting.
