The seats come off the rails very easily. There is 4 nuts/bolts holding the seats on. Sorry, can't remember what size they are... The most challenging part is finding a place for your hands to fit.
Yeah I can feel the nuts...but I keep thinking there has to be an easier way of getting them off..like removing the foam and going in from the top or somthing
how is this not gonna help you? it clearly shows how to get the seats off the rails... did you happen to scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on to page 2????

total job time was less than 2 hours. although I didn't think it would be as difficult as it ended up being when I started I got the seat out of the car and looked under it. there are 4 connectors to remove, easy, and 4 bolts hold the track in, also easy...not! the nuts are on top, under the seat foam, you can't even see them. in the end here was my procedure, which ended up working. first take the seat inside where there's AC, because its hot outside! there are two metal seat upolstery clips which hold a flap of material on the back of the seat, it covers a knot where the nylon string holds the lower seat skin together. cut or remove those clips. in the end I replaced mine with wire ties, since I had them handy. they will do the same job. with the flap moved, untie the nylon string and loosen it up so you can get your fingers under the seat skin. remove the seatbelt and the power seat controls. also unplug the 4 connectors mentioned earlier. be sure to mark them just in case so you can get the right sensor wire plugged into the right motor when you're done. a gear wrench would be the best way to get the nuts off, although I did mine with some greasy beat up knuckles and a standard box wrench. there are 4 13mm nuts to remove. for each one just push the seat foam away and try to get the wrench over the nut. its hard to do, but it can be done. after they are off the track comes right out, replace with the new one! and do it all backwards.

I'd say that McGiles guy is a little dramatic... took me 2 beers and an hour to take my seats out of the car, remove old seats, put new ones on and put back in the car.
