Change front directional bulb... How?
Dumb question #12. Does anyone know a shortcut or have simple instructions on how to change the front blinker bulb on a 2000??? I've been looking at it for an hour...Also if someone could share the bulb# I'd appreciate it as well. Thank you...

Bulb number is in owners manual-To change out,open hood and lamp doors.Take off watch or rings,slide hand down to bulb sock and twist 1/4 turn.If you cannot reach the bulb socket,push back the flexible brake airduct in bumper and get someone with real small hands to reach in and twist bulb

I had the same predicament...
Anyway, this is how I did it. I opened the hood and turned up the headlight manually. Then, I removed the black bezel around the headlight (3 screws). It's much easier to reach down there then. Also, when you turn the bulb 1/4 turn, make sure you hold in the tab that is also on the bulb. After the turn, you can just pull it straight down and out. I hope this helps...

Thanks for the advice... I had my arm down there and had hoped this was not the proceedure. What about removing the plastic housing around the headlight? It looks as though that might help as well... I did look in the book and found the bulb#... Thanks again...
