Default Traction issues, will Toyo R888s help?

Hi, I've got 19" C6 Z06 wheels on the back of my C5 and am running just under 400rwhp. I can't seem to get traction off the line using BFGoodrich geforece kdw t/a2s (I think thats the model). Would upgrading to the new 19" Toyo r888s for the rear be worth the 800 or so they would run? The best 60' I've ever been able to pull off is a 2.45. I've been very dissapointed with the geforce tires so far but I don't want to upgrade if the difference is minimal.

To my knowledge these Toyos are probably the stickiest 19" wheels around (please let me know if there is something better!).

You didn't say if you were racing it at a track or not--but--My experience has been that NO street tire ever made me happy and none of them give good traction --no matter what the cost or the size--
You need drag radials---period !!!!! At the track most all serious guys have an extra set of rims and tires that they put on the rear to make passes on-----I do as well--I'm not concerned with looks or matching or the correct split between the front and rears for correct ABS & traction control--(for correct operation the rears have to be exactly 1" taller than the fronts) I ended up with 275-35-18 BFG drag radials
No spinning!!!! 390 RWHP -A4

I mostly do 1/4 mile runs, I haven't gotten to a real track yet. My issues is that I've got 19" wheels on the rear, I think I'm SOL on anything other than a "competiton" tire. I'm just hoping these r888s are better than the the current tires I've got.
