Milling heads
To make a long story short, I had a damaged valve and they said i needed to mill my head a little to make sure iit was flush, So i went ahead and told them to mill .025 off..
On ls1tech.com based off an article I read this Should put me in the mid to high 10 compression ratio- Probally a little more than the LS6 head.
has anyone done this, How much power is to be expected?

You will need to check valve to piston clearance depending on the cam you are using, and that CR is a little high for un-known quality pump gas, but if everything is done right you should see a little more power over-all with the right tune. How did the valve get damaged?? That needs to be addressed before any assy.
