Well, the first night I was stupid. I used the wrong stuff and attempted to do it in my garage. The stuff I used originally ate at the rubber a little, but that was in a spray can. Let's not count that time as it was a waste.
When I got the "Aircraft Remover" by KleenStrip I purposely planned on brushing it neatly on the wheels and letting it set in.
So I did exactly that. I did NOT take the tires off and I did not get any of the remover on them. I got a small 2" brush and I was careful. I let each wheel set 40 minutes. I have a 2000 Vette.
