NEED HELP: Euro tail light install
I am in the middle of installing my tail lights right now and i am having a problem. I installed the harness and cut the white wire and now my brake lights dont work.

Cutting the white wire seperates the brake light from the turn indicators and runs them back sepereately to the rear of the car, then they can go their own seperate ways from where the new harness joins the old harness. Did you connect the two harnesses properly?

or did you cut the wrong wire? Those damn euro harnesses can be a PITA.

I cut the right wire, i have triple checked. and i dont know how i would install the harness wrong. I have wired up a ton of sterio systems and dvd/nav systems and I can't seem to get this right haha. I thought this was going to be a simple project. There must be something wrong with my harness, that is the only thing i can think of. Is there anyone out there I can mail my harness to and can look at it and fix it if something is wrong?

By the way, you're in Pensacola and you took a picture of your car in front of an F-15... isn't that considered sacreligious...

My harness had a short in it....if you have a multimeter you can check it out yourself
in the meantime I suppose you can just hook your old harness back up

Yeah I had to hook up the stock harness for the time being. I can't wait to get it hooked up right, I love the euro tail lights
