Default Z06 Fuel Infectors

Anyone know what the lbs./hr are for the C5 Z06 fuel injectors? For 450 hp I believe I'm going to need 30 lbs. Thanks in advance

I believe all of them are #28 (I know mine are). I understand them to be good up to ~ 450 rwhp.

They are good to 475 RWHP in my experience on my Z06.

Most people find the stock 28.8# injectors are max'd out (100% IDC) around 420rwhp.

30# SVO's (which are actually 36# at 58psi) are good to about 450-460rwhp.

Good info.

All C-5 Corvettes (Z06 or regular) had 28.8# injectors, except for the 99 and 00, which had 26#s.

Someone edumicate me. How is a 30# a 36#??? Why wouldn't they just call it a 36# if it is instead of a 30#???

Sounds like a need 58psi for my 450hp build.

You already have 58psi, that's the point.

Fuel injectors are universal fit parts, and are typically rated at 43psi fuel pressure.

C5 fuel systems run at 58psi fuel pressure.

A fuel injector that flows 30# @ 43psi will actually flow 36# @ 58psi. That is why a seemingly small jump to the 30s is actually a bigger step than most people think.

while we're talking about fuel injectors, im around 430RWHP and my duty cycle is maxed! I will be N/A around 470-480RWHP in the short future and hope to have 150 dry shot on top of that. Would 42lb-ers be enough?
