I would not install a catback desiring a horsepower gain. I think it safe to say, most change their catback for the sound.
Couldn't agree more. Just get the system you think sounds the best and do your research. Also another benefit is weight reduction. TI's and other cat-back manufactures claim 15-25lbs of weight loss. Not sure what it actually is as I've never weighed it but it is a difference.
A couple of my buddies had after market cat-backs(corsa, borla) and got tired of the noise. They put the Z06 titanium cat-back on and had them re dynoed. Lost maybe 1 HP or 2. Do it for the sound
