Definitely a one person job. The C5's door opening is huge, so you don't have to worry about scraping up your forearms (my old Firebird was terrible). Once you remove the door panel (here), there are two bolts securing the glass, a few more nuts on the window motor, and four for the regulator. Once you get the door panel off you should be able to see how to get everything apart and back together again. As for adjustment, I just tried to match it up as close as possible with the old assembly and then tweaked from there.

Yep, loosen the two bolts securing the window and lift out the glass. Take note of where the window is positioned front to rear. Then you can deal with the regulator. There are two nuts toward the top of the door, one behind the refletor, and the last underneath the door toward the front. Remove them along with the three or four securing the motor, disconnect the motor harness, and yank that thing out of there.

If your window was sealing alright, I suggest you mark the position of the glass using masking tape on the glass and on the outer door trim. Put tape along the top of the outer weatherstrip on the front and rear of the glass and on the weatherstrip, then use a marker to mark the position front to rear. The tape will mark the vertical position of the glass in the brackets. (the brackets holding the glass are slotted so you can adjust the window position up and down, in addition to forward and back. )
The hardest part of the job is getting the door panel off without breaking the fasteners out of the panel. Use tape on the edge of the door panel and to protect the paint, then use a heavy duty putty knife to slip in behind the panel. Try to get the putty knife against the female part of the fastener so you are prying on the male fastener in the door instead of the door frame.
It makes it easier to remove the door speaker to get to the wiring connector on the motor. Remove the rear access hole cover. Remove the 3 nuts attaching the motor to the door frame. Remove the covers to the access holes for the glass clamp bolts. Loosen the bolts and lift the glass out with the glass in the up position. Remove the zip tie that holds the drive cables to the door frame. Remove the nuts that hold the regulator assembly to the door at the bottom, then remove the top two bolts. Flex the regulator assembly and work it out through the rear access hole. Check to make sure the jack screws on the new regulator brackets are in the same position as the old regulator. Adjust the lower rear adjusting screw to the same position as the old regulator. Install the new regulator.
