I plan to drag my car about once a month in the nicer weather and drive her to school everyday other than that, is 4:10's going to be the right choice?..I have pretty much every other bolt on mod already so the power is there I just want to use it better..Thanks in advance for suggestions.

Have you bought the 4:10s yet ? What gear ratio do you have now ?
If you are only drag racing once a month then your not really that serious about it so why handicap your car with 4:10s ? Do you plan on purchasing a custom tune or tuning software because the change to 4:10s will require it. If you run your stock gears you can still have a great time at the track.
i love my 4:10s over the stock 3:42s. make sure you have some good sticky tires though or they will spin all day though on the street with good throttle. i have dunlop sport maxx tires (stock size) with low miles on them and they do not do the gears justice at all.
run out of 4th at the track with a MN6?! i have 3.42 and i have to just have to shift to 4th at teh finish line...i cant believe its that much diff. but i have heads and cam and rev to 7k

Yea you have to consider what you rev to, what speed you plan on crossing the finish line, and what size tire you have.

driving everyday with 4:10 NO
How much drag racing have you done is all i can ask or you would know the answer to this already I think. Not trying to be harsh just to the point. you will eat street tires up left and right and will not have the grin on your face you think you will get. I would suggest 3.90's, headers, flywheel, exhaust cutouts before 4.10's
I think you will not enjoy your car as much as a daily driver in my honest opinion.

Why go with 3.90s over 4.10s? I don't see there being that much of a difference in driveability. While I don't daily drive my car I do drive it a lot and 4.10s have never bothered me at all, even in New Jersey traffic. My 4.10s haven't eaten an street tires either. A heavy foot maybe, but not 4.10s. Aside from determining your gear to fit your 1/4 mile plans it is all personal preference. I love my 4.10s and wouldn't want any other gear for my setup.
4:10s are just fine for DD. i think they are awesome and my car is my DD
I agree. As aggressive as they sound they still aren't a hassle for daily driving. For regular town driving the shifts come a little earlier of course, but you'll find that after a little while you won't even be able to remember how it used to be, it will just feel natural. On top of that 5th and 6th gear become usable/more realistic for the car and gas mileage is still 26 or better on the highway.
I also agree with the tire shredding comment. If you have crappy tires hooking up will be a problem, but good tires will remedy that.
I, by the way, am still under the factory rev limiter(about 6200). I generally shift at about 5900-6000 rpms just to be safe and as I said before 4th does not run out, it just comes relatively close. A person could always up the rev limiter to 6500-6700 if they wanted to, but for me it's not necessary.
If you are not planning on doing major mods(ie:FI or HC) I would recommend 4.10s highly. And there are some guys who have 500+ hp with 4.10s though I don't see how they do it.
Because nobody admits a problem when it was money they spent. In all my years 4.10's have never been a street option considered.
If you like them so be it
I ran 5.13 on the street in my '56. 55 mph was about 3800 rpm. I could launch without bogging in third. First gear was maybe a 30 ft shot and bang second. It ran 12.26 - 12.27 at 106 - 107 mph. It was HORRIBLE to drive on the street. Never lost a stoplight gran prix, but it was HORRIBLE on the street. With double overdrive, the 4.10 may not be TOO bad because 70 mph is still only going to be aoubt 2300 rpm or so and you'll be able to launch in third, second for sure, and only use first gear to launch "when an emergency arises". And I think, with practice shifting and launching, the 4.10 is worth more than 3 or 4 tenths.
