Your looking anywhere from 3k to 10k depending on the quality. This summer I had both from and back bumpers put on and both side of the car "refinished" where my body side moldings left bad marks and it cost me $3,500. If I had to do it over again, I would do the disassembly becuase alot of times the paint shop see a vette and thinks $$$. It wasnt an option for me though as I worked out of town. It did come out looking great and exceeded my expectations.
When I painted my 69' a few years ago, it cost me $1000+ for red single stage urethane (Dupont ChromaOne). I just painted a MCM hood and ACI spoiler for my 01' (Navy Blue Metallic with a Titanium stripe) and the materiral (1 quart blue, 1 pint Titanium, reducer, clear ...) cost me $250+
I should have been clearer in my post.. I am only looking for the cost of the materials..
Thanks
I don't know how much paint you need. I just
know cost for material for projects I have done on cars and trucks.
Depending on what brand and color red being more expensive for some reason, around $80 a quart for base coat,
and $40 for clear coat. That does not include activators, reducers, flex additive, hardener, and stabilizers. Each brand
(ppg, dupont, martin seymour) has there own setup and mixing requirements. Probably around a $1000 in materials for factory color using a 2 stage urethane.

Depends on the grade you want...the basic "shop grade" base can be $70-80 a quart, but the top grade will be $200-300 a quart for the same color. We just did a mil-yellow door blend. 7 variations of mil yellow, $74 a pint & took 3 different pints to get a close enough match.....and that was with us custom tinting with some white base to get the match.
Plan on around $500-700 for base/clear/catalyst. Reds are the most expensive at around $270 a gallon which would increase the cost around $100. My paint of choice is PPG DBU series basecoats and the DCU 2021 clearcoats. PPG sells another line (DCC). The reason I like the DBU is because if a part goes wrong....crater, sag, whatever, you can sand the DBU down and re-coat right away. If you use the DCC series; once you break through the clear--chances are the paint will blister unless you've had seven plus days of cure time. The 2021 lays well and is great for all over paint jobs. They have faster clears such as 2042 and 2000 but these are mainly for panel repair. They dry super fast, but if you lay the stuff on too thick (which you want for a great shine) there is a great possibility of solvent pop...(Tiny little bubbles coming up through the clear as it cures)
If you have any other questions on paint and materials don't hesitate to ask. I am mostly familiar with PPG products, but I have used others such as Dupont, Acme, Sherwin-Williams, House of Color.
