If you purchase your valve stem seals from GM you will find that the intake seals are a reddish color and the exhaust seals are black. You can use the exhaust seals for both the intake and exhaust, but not the reverse.

Do you think the sent me all exhaust seals so there would be no margin for error?

On small inexpensive items such as valve stem seals, I always us Genuine GM Parts. I go to my local Chevrolet dealer and buy directly from him. That way there is no concern about the quality or fit of the parts.

Good luck with your decision.

Viton seals are all black and will work fine. They may be a little overkill on the intake valves, but that's never a bad thing.

They're all the same size and black... they're fine. I had replaced the seals with oem when doing a spring swap at 60k from all the HPDE use on my stock motor.

Then at 70 I put my cam in and it was one of the first things I noticed. I called LGM to double check and they confirmed that it was supposed to be that way and just fine.

10k later and I've had no issues... no smoking or oil consumption.
