Front drl inop, bulb is fine
the front light socket has been hit with water too many times, anyone have any luck taking the socket apart to clean the contacts?? or just replace the socket??

the parking light functions fine, it's just half of the contacts that don't work

I cleaned mine out with contact cleaner and a small file. Has worked ever since.
I also pasted a small square of mirror on the top of the lens where it cracked (keeps the heat down) and sealed the top with sealent.
You have to also make sure that that weird looking O-ring is in place on the socket before you put it back in so moisture does not get in.
