I know this may seem stupid, but after installing my corsa cat backs a week ago I got under the car today to check for leaks and saw black soot coming out of all the clamps. Also I noticed a tiny hole on each muffler(2mm) that allows exhaust to flow out. The clamp bands are as tight as possible, and is this hole in the muffler normal? Thanks ahead of time for any response!
Those traits are normal with the Corsa systems. The hole on the mufflers is just in case there is any condensation that may sit in that area. It is also in case any water enters through the exhaust tips. It has a place for the water to exit out safely. The black soot is not an indication of a problem. Your exhaust system is braking in properly. You can tighten the clamps as hard as you want, but it won't prevent the black soot.

You will not see them on the stock system because it it a welded system. Coras come in parts so they can go via UPS and have the clamps. I had the same concern when mine were installed. I think it is an ehaust leak but other have said not to worry about it. I don't know if it is unique to Corsa's system. I don't recall the PRT customers posting comments about the leaks but sometbing tells me they are the same.
I guess the price we pay for the cool Corsa sound is a small exhaust leak...good trade in my book.
