ttt

Here’s a To The Top for ‘ya –

Your post is a little confusing. Most people would consider “spins over” and “cranks” to be the same thing.

You need to elaborate. Research how to “pull codes” through your cars DIC, then post what you find. May help someone to diagnose.

Check your battery voltage (with engine off), is it over 11.5 volts? If not your battery needs charged or replaced.

Is it turning over slowly? If so you should check all electrical connetions at battery and at starter. If these are okay, you may have a bad starter.

Does car run okay once started? If not, you should check your fuel pressure, you may have a bad fuel pump and/or clogged fuel filter.

The LS1 engine usually starts right up, quickly. Even when my battery was bad, it would start up on almost the first crank.

And yes, you need to pull your codes. You CAN have codes without a "service engine light" on. Even your history codes might tell you what is happening.
