Took car to place where guys have programed TPS .This was their first experence with a Z,could not get it programed. What gives is there sometning different on a Z DIC or have I somehow got a car that has a problem others don,t have and I,ve blown $200+ for nothing
This was not a dealer but was a Corvette place .They have programed others, have tool but this was first Z. They were trying to save me & $104 stealership wants for 5 mins.
I did the same thing to my 04 Z-16. Took it to a Chevy dealer with the forum instructions printed. It worked out great-already had a low tire warning from a screw -- saved me some grief.

From what I,ve been able to find out ,if I go to the stealership I,m going to get the screw
I guess that depends on the dealer, here's what I did. I contacted the local corvette club and asked what dealer is good wit corvettes and knows his stuff. They gave me a dealers name in Lynnwood and a name of a corvette certified mechanic working there. I went to the dealer and asked if he and only he would work on my car and they said that only corvette certified mechanics are allowed to work on corvettes in their shop. I also asked them the cost and not to wash my car or store it outside and they told me that was policy. They charged me roughly $220 for the 4 sensors and $170 to remove the wheels and install and program the sensors and rebalance the tires --which I thought fair
