Default Jet Performance Product

I installed a "jet performance module" on my previous car,,02 firebird formula,,I really didn't notice any increase in h.p. althought they "claim" up to 25 additional. Anyone think its worth the expense to install on my new vette,,thanks.

"UP TO 25hp" means "ZERO to 25". Get that "ZERO" part?

Most of these handhelds are only going to give you gains at full throttle. Save your money and get your car professionally tuned by a tuner who specialized in LS engines and GM performance. Many tuners are at shows like Carlisle and will bench tune your car for around $100 - $300 taking into account any mods you have already performed. You could also take out your computer and ship it to a tuner and they will tune and send back to you. You might try talking to Chris at ECS, Carmen at the Vette Doctors, or Chuck at CoW. I think you will get better results with a custom tune. Good luck with it.

no

I bought a Miata that had a Jet reprogrammed ECU already installed

previous owner spent $400 on it

dyno tested it against known good stock unit -- no difference at all

despite their claims of having reprogrammed the fuel curve (Miatas are known to run very rich at high rpm) it was not

spend money on having a reputable vette specialist tune your car

I have the JET 6pack on my 93 full sized blazer. It works good because you can switch between performance, towing and economy. Also has valet mode and no start security mode.

For a C5, there is no module. You would need the programmer.
