Nice numbers, you'll definately be deep into the 11's with that power. You're getting me psyched for my trip to Cartek this coming March. :D
I have to ask you, how EVIL does your car sound with that T1 cam? :reddevil I know that's a pretty aggresive cam with a 112 LSA, I bet it sounds like freaking race car combined with the TPIS LTs and the Indys.
I just had mine done by The Vette Doctors, I hope I can get those numbers. Thats some awsome #'s. I should be getting mine back today or tomorrow and I'll post mine
Thanks. My car sounds like I have extra cubes in the motor. Deep rumble sound. You can hear the cam in the car. It sounds real bad butt. I now make as much torque (320) at 2500 RPM as I did max with the car stock. The max RWHP (318) I made stock now comes on at 4400 RPM. The car is now set up to rev up to 6800. It was absolutely screaming on the dyno. In 4th it was doing 160+ MPH. This is a 200 MPH car.
Dave Localio is a good friend of mine. He owns his own shop called headgames motorsports in NJ. He specializes in porting heads. My heads looked like mirrors inside when he was done. He also uses Ferrea valves which according to him flow the best but they are a lot more expensive. Give him a call if you are interested (609) 586-0354. Leave a message and he'll call back.
The T1 cam is a comp cam 221.6 221.6 112 Lobe Sep. I think the lift was .558. It's a healthy cam. I hope it passes inspection.
I want to try to get to Atco Raceway if I can to get some #'s.
Great Numbers! You're gonna love it. I hope you bought stock in your favorite tire company. :D The rears will wear out quickly. Please post results when you do the smog test. That cam was my first choice, but I went just a little milder on duration and went with a 114 lsa for emissions.
You forgot the most important question.....how much were the heads?
What's this????? Doc just got his cam and underdrive pully installed and he's already pricing heads. hahahaha
Just kidding with you doc, I am contemplating throwing heads in the mix as well..... I am already set on adding the cam and UD pully as you did here soon.
:D :D :D :D
Nice numbers. I'm working on a similar package, hoping to get that power kicked in around 3800 rpm. So far we got around 400rwhp hitting at 4200 rpm, but are way rich. By the end of the week, we should be rocking with 410-420 at 3800rpm, all on a Stage I head.
