Yup, I just did this to pull my old 346, put a Lingenfelter 403 in, change the clutch from a SPEC 3 to a Textrailia, and pulled the whole drivetrain while I was at it to rebuild my DTE tranny brace.
---
It was a lot easier than I thought it would be. It had it's rough spots, doing it without a lift and on jackstands being the biggest obstacle, but I got the job done. Now just waiting for heads to complete the project.
---
Congrats on a job well done to you. And thanks for the pics and docs.

the bad new from my vette , it worked very well , good sensations , nice noise and on Magny Cours track the Damper unscrewed .
So i cameback and towed the vette .It will be repaired in september.

Here i'm working on my Vette to remove the Damper by a new Fluid Damper.

This week end ,we ressembled the fluid damper and radiator , steering and she runs well again after a good washing to clean all the oil under the body .

You might want to pin the crank while you are in there. It's cheap insurance.

Ok, good. Just watching your back. Didn't want to see all that hard work go flying off the road.
I'm liking the red powder coated wagon wheels. Nice touch with that car.
BTW, it looks like you at least had fun doing it. Your cousin looks like he's hoping to get some seat time!
