I was driving home last night on the highway and noticed a hissing sound start coming from the engine bay. I could only hear it faintly on the highway but when I pulled off onto a small street it became more noticable. I woke up today and poked my head under the hood to try and hear where its coming from and it seems to be from the intake manifold. Either directly from it or on the firewall side of it. Any ideas? Again it sounds just like if you were to squeeze a bike pump, except it isnt a consistent flow of air, its a little choppy. My vents wont change positions as well, I mean, the air doesnt direct through a specific vent and when I change the mode nothing happens. I have no idea.

Sounds like your Hvac vacuam hose broke or fell off. Its a pain to fix. Probably have to take intake off unless you have real small hands. Thats the hissing your hearing and the reason your vents arnt working.........
check your battery.....if it is leaking they might have corroded the vaccum lines that operate the door for the air vents.......these lines are right under the battery.

Check that first. If it is, may be a good idea to upgrade to a FAST
