Im looking at putting 4.10s in my 1999 FRC and was looking around at different places that sell the rear differentials. Has anyone heard of Gulf Coast Performance out of Houston and what kind of work they do. I have already talked with Texas Speed and Thunder Racing and they are both about $300.00 more expensive than Gulf Coast Performance. Thanks for any advise.
is Gulf Coast Performance including the strengthened output shaft? It's important to upgrade that part for these more radical ratios. It cost about $300 more; so that's why I am asking if it's included from them or not.
Yes, it included the left side harded shaft, which is the one that creates all the problem. From what he told me the right side is not an issue unless u are running serious HP.
Talk with Tracy Lewis @ RevExtreme before you make a decision on where to buy or get an install.. they've been an outstanding shop to work with and he offered me a phenomenal price on 4.10's for my Z06..
