2000 C5 headlights stay up

2000 C5 headlights stay up
Today 1/3/08 in Philly, in cold weather, My headlights stayed up and on , although the headlight switch was in the off possition. Is it because of the 10 degree weather , or do I have a problem with the switch. If anyone has any idea's, I would appreciate your input. This is my first Corvette and looking forward to a lot of miles and road trips. Thanks for your help

If they just stayed up then I would guess maybe they froze in that position. However, since they are also still on, it sounds like it may be your switch. Either way, you can pull the headlight fuse (don't know which one that is - check your owner's manual) to keep from killing your battery. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will chime in here soon.
