Default P0410

I got the P1415 code a few weeks ago and changed the driver's side valve. Now P0410 keeps coming up. I checked the vacuum line under the battery and it is OK. If the passanger side valve is bad it should cause a P1416 which I have not had yet. Can it also trigger a P0410? Does any one have any ideas? I know the pax valve is behind the engine. Would it help to change this one, and how do you get to it?
Thanks,
emj

Supposedly if both of your check valves go bad, then it could throw the P0410 code. This is a theory that someone else shared with me but it was not true for my case. My problem was the vacuum line that runs under the battery.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like I might have checked the wrong vacuum line, or not enough of it. Only about 6 inches of it are visible, and it does not seem to have any slack. If I read you right, I need to also remove the battery to gain better access. Snaking 5 feet of new line looks like it could be a real feat.

Since the Chevy technician is the one who did the repair, I don't know how difficult it was to do. 85% of his time was in diagnosing the problem. I don't think it took him too long to actually fix it (maybe just an hour or so).

I am having the same code with my car... I kind of doubt its both valves, or the air pump, so I'm guessing its the hose, Other people on this forum have said that they've had this code and it ended up being the hose.

have you fixed your emj?
