Default Gremlins!!!

Now I realize without you physically being here you might not be able to help, but heres whats going on. Whenever I do some spirited driving aka. have some hard shifts, my radio goes crazy. By crazy I mean my battery voltage drops to 12.8 instead of 13.4 for a while, when I hit the brakes, use the windows, or cut on the defroster, the radio cuts off and cuts back on. not to mention I hear a relay click under the dash in the footwell of the passenger area. This has happend before, but the problem rectified itself a few days later. C5 electrical gremlins are the bane of my excistence...

The DIC isnt showing any codes at all. Ive also noticed that my window controls on the drivers door only work in the auto down position, incrimental down is gone. also, the rear defroster button will come on when I press it, but then i get that relay click under the dash, the light stays on, defroster never cuts on, and the radio does that off/on thing.

Important notes:

-The relay click just happens once when it happens, and I mean there is just ONE click not a series of clicks as if I had a dead battery.

-Radio cuts off then on if the brakes are depressed in moving or non moving state, when defrost is cut on, and when window auto down is utilized.

PLEASE HELP!!! argh....

Also, the ground aft of the passenger side headlight is crappy, I have to jiggle it to get my headlight to become bright when I cut the lights on. if I dont, its just this nasty brown as if it was backfeeding.

I could be wrong, but it sounds like you need to clean the grounds in the wiring harness. Here is a link to a sticky thread that might help:

Could also be time for a new battery.
