First timer will probably spend a weekend doing it. You have to watch how much of any angle you put on the driveline when you're lowering it to remove the trans/diff. Also - the diff and trans come out as one on C5's, not so fun! Other then that its rather straight forward - remove the rear cradle, set it off to the side and have fun at the trans and diff. If you make sure you get all of your wiring out of the way you'll be good. Dont forget the converter bolts!
