Crazy electrical problem

Shall we all assume here that all the grounds in the engine compartment have been checked twice, especially the one right below the battery since your mechs are in that area messing around.

I think of myself as an above average handy person and never in my life has a battery change made me think twice. But this is the reason I'm scared to change the battery in my own vette, I would sooner what to rebuild the rear that deal with this stuff. I'm curious too to see if anyone has figured this out.

I have the same problem. But mine started before I changed the battery. I replaced the hazzard switch but it did not stop the problem. I cleaned the grounds because the battery had leaked but still the problems goes on. Have you found anything. I am thinking it might be the multifunction switch.
