my 98 MN6 has your proposed setup dyno tuned to yield 488 rwhp. If I was a perfect driver I could pull mid to low 11's. You'll need a supercharger, turbo or nitrous to get into the 10's in my opinion.

Have a look at this thread.

Only a few people on that list are in the high tens without power adders. It will be difficult unless you go with a power adder or more cubic inches. You will also need to think about clutch, transmission and differential upgrades to get into the tens without breakages.

I would use more gear if its an option like a 3.73. that set up tuned right should get you close to 500rwhp. Use a good drag radial like the MT et streets. No reason you cant run a 10 with that set up. Some of these other guys will say its hard but they are running a manual and that takes a lot more skill to drive fast than an auto. YOu may need to use the CCW drag pack and adjustable shocks too. Once you start to hook the car up you should get the hardend axels too.

Spend a grand on a 150 shot with safety goodies, some sticky tires and you'll be pretty close. Def there with headers/exhaust. I went a 10.8@129 with sticky tires, headers, and a 150 shot. You can do H/C in leiu of the shot but it's $$$ in comparison and you lose some street friendliness....

Also, Cartek has had h/c cars in the 10's for years. I don't see why it couldn't be done especially if set up mostly for the track. The right gears, the right engine parts combo, I think it could be done. It's all in how the car is optimized.

You didn't read his post well, he has an auto with a 3600 stall and 3:42 gears.

Default A4

You said you have a stall, but is the trans stock? If so it will not make it. Ask me how I know?

I have a P1SC (A&A) ,3:42 gears , Kooks LTs, 3,000 stall and Built A4, cam and patriot double springs, 315 nitto drag radial. Drives nearly like stock till oyu mash on it!

Have not been back to the track yet, But I hope im in the 10s
575HP , 505 TQ

Doing it "ALL MOTOR" is another animal though! Can be done on stock cubes , but might not have very good street manners.

my a4 is re built already its not a stock..sorry guys but i dissagree with some who says its not possible with n/a.. if u see the cartek with there stage2 h/c which there cam has less lift and duration than g5x3 they make high 10s also the lg heads which is milled to 59cc((higher compression))that is another point..so i dont know guys whats the reason thats make it impossible with my setup?? any body agree

of course it's possible NA, it's just not the easiest/cheapest way, that's all. I have a 327 ci NA 7.5:1 comp motor running 10.30s in a 3200 lb car...
