Kooks Headers
I just recivied my kooks headers and they have , like a flare at the end of the collector, do I need their mid pipe? It dose not look like a normal collector will work? Or can a muffler shop flare the end of the pipe to go inside?

you are correct, you will have to have a comparable flare at the end of your midpipe along with a matching header flange to bolt up to. i use grade 8 coated sae bolts 2 1/2" long with washers. they stay tight, have not rusted, and are taken off with no problems. do not use stainless fasteners, i have already gone that route and had to replace them.
