Default another brake question

So, I've been reading up on all the countless brake threads on the forum. My situation is that my car is a DD. I'm easy on the braking and don't want to replace/turn rotors constantly. I am looking for a recommendation on pads and rotors. I kindof got the impression that slotted but not drilled rotors might help my cause. Last time I did the brakes I used napa rotors and their premium ceramic pads. I'm not planning on doing this again since the rotors were warped out of the box, I took it back apart and then turned the rotors. Not many miles later the pulsation came back. I've been driving it like that for a while now. I don't have time to constantly be redoing the brakes. Please give me some suggestions on pads/rotors. I always torque the wheels to 100 ft/lbs which I read was the correct torque on this board. If that number has changed since I last read, please let me know that as well. Thanks!

I've never had a problem with napa rotors.
Did you check the run-out out of the box ?
Did you feel a vibe immediately ?

slots and holes just wear pads quicker

I did not check the runout out of the box. I put them on right out of the box, then turned them later. Maybe my problem is with the pads then?
