Without a tuner the aftermarket MAF's are a problem--It takes hours of data logging and callibrating to get one right-THEN you only might gain 2-3 HP--Not worth the $$ or the effort
I would go with the LS6 manifold--best all round choice--If you happen to score a Fast cheap--they are good too- but new the cost is outta site--
If you wait until you get into the motor the intake you choose will make a big difference.
IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO REALLY PUSH THE PARTS IN THE MOTOR LS6 WAY TO GO. BUT WANT MORE H.P AND TQ AND DOWN THE ROAD GOING INSIDE THE BLOCK FAST AND GET IT PORTED.AND IF NOT GOING BIG TIME STAY WITH THE 78 MM INTAKE.R IF GO WITH THE 90. GET A GOOD TUNER..
