Default Engine work. Where to go?

I have had my o4 coupe for about 3 years now and really getting the fever for a hot cam, headers and what ever else I need to jack up the HP to say maybe 450-475 RWHP. I am in Fort Smith, AR and really don't know where to go for honest quality work.

I have done the work on the car so far but don't feel comfortable doing any major motor work.

Any help in the right direction would be appreciated.

Currently have Vararam and Borla Stingers.

Forgive my naive suggestion, sincerely. But can't you get the GM HOT CAM done at the dealership? Seems like that would be cool because you might get a warrantee.
Not that I would steer anyone away from the vendors on the CF. I am sure they are great, just wondering the same thing since I don't have alot of local shops in my town.

Gulf coast performance (forum member Canjundude) is running some specials right now on cam only and head/cams.

One of the nicest guys and well respected here.

I would never ever go to a stealership for work to be done. They over charge, they do not do a good job, and they find the easy way out when there is a problem. They also try to deny when they messed something up.

I have been a chevy guy for almost 40 years, and can say only one nice thing about them. They can get the parts I want, but at a cost.
