Question about Ti exhaust on A4
I have a 2004 A4 coupe and I bought a Ti exhaust from a forum member. Will this bolt right on or does it need any modification to make it fit?
Also, how much does it usually cost to have the AA mod done on the Ti's?

Yes it will bolt right on, and no it doesn't require any modification (unless you know someone who welds Ti and can do the A&A bypass mod).

Welding Titanium, CORRECTLY, is not something most weld shops are set up for. Usually the weld has to be "shielded" on all sides with Argon gas, and if a TIG welder is used, the Tungsten tip should not contact the molten Titanium as the weld will then be contaminated.
You need to search and find if someone in your area knows how to weld Ti, then ask them what they'd charge. You'll get a much better idea of what it would cost (if you can find someone to do it).
