How much do they normally go for? I have seen them in the range of $219-$250? If you know of cheaper with belts and new bolt let me know! :D

I think its a $30 mark up from ASP, but who cares. Availability and speed (performance) cost!

I ordered mine from ASP directly about 2 weeks ago for the same price, $250.

When ordered with the belts, pulley, AND crank bolt, they are $249 almost everywhere. Considering they have been extremely hard to get over the past year, we should all probably be glad they aren't $350... after all, they ARE for a Vette!

http://www.ASPracing.com . I have a pile on order and just received a partial shipment. Unfortunately, they were gone within hours of receiving them. :( All I have left are F-body pulleys.

Send me a plane ticket and I will stall them for you. ;)

What does your company do? That is awesome that you are growing that fast especially in this economy! Maybe in another couple of years the economy will start turning around for the rest of us. :)

Hi,

I'm getting interested in doing this mod on my 2002 Coupe. Can you guys give me a quick lesson in Pulley 101?

First, I checked out ASP Racing's website (http://www.autospecialties.com/frame.htm)
and found two different pulley packages listed for the C5,

Year Engine Pulley Description Full Charge Nitride Hard Coat
Black Alum

97-02 350 LS1 25% Harmonic Dampner Crank
10% A/C, 15% Alternator 950 RPM ASP941024
$245.95

97-02 350 LS1 25% Harmonic Dampner Crank
10% A/C Reduction 850 RPM ASP941020
$216.00

Are you guys talking about the first one?

Second, what are the negatives (if any) to doing a pulley on a non-head/cam C5?

Thanks for the schoolin' :D,
Keith

The LS1 tends to be very voltage sensitive. I would get the crank pulley only if I were you. That is what I recommend my customers get.

There are no negatives with the crank pulley that we have encountered. You will pick up a few ponies on your mostly stock car. :)

Let me know if I can help. Of course, I do not have any in stock right now. It will probably be another week or so.
