Default Help, Headers - O2 - B0300 Multiple Engine Misfires

Hey guys. I'm in a bad way right now. Still fighting with getting my exhaust right. It is snowing in Atlanta today but I'm sweating, guess why? That's right, actually under the car. Made some nice rails to drive up onto so I could jack her up real nice and verify the work that has been done.

I'm now getting B0300 Multiple Engine Misfires and the car barely runs.

Per Anythony's @ LGM instructions. I have had the original front o2 sensors removed completely. I have them in hand and they have the oblong connector. The rear o2 sensors have been moved to the front, have the LGM adapter in them, turneing them from square into oblong and are indeed plugged in to the oblong front o2 connector. The routing of the wiries is impeccable, not touching anything, tied down perfectly. I have personnally verifed all this with my own eyes and hands. The two square connectors are not plugged in at all as there are no rear o2's now.

All 8 plug wires are tight and they claim they did not remove any plug just to move the rear o2's to the front. After looking at it, I agree they would not have needed to. I drove the car for two days with the original fronts in front and rears in rear and there was no misfiring, so no reason to suspect the plugs.

I was getting 1153 codes with that first configuration due to the original front sensors not heating up quick enough. This is supposedly why the rears are moved to the front, because they heat up quicker.

I'm at a loss as to know what to do here. The shop has done exactly what was expected and it looks very clean to me.

My car is undriveable!

My first best guess at this point would be that the rear o2 sensors that were put in the front are both bad and not sending any signal. What are the odds of both going out??

My second best guess would be the computer needs to relearn something. However, I've read multiple places that the missing rear o2's should only throw a code that is basically benign to the performance of my enging. That certainly shouldn't cause misfires. BTW, it is multiple misfires for sure. I've had v8's with a single bad plug and it just ran a little rough and powerless. This thing barely runs at all at idle. Lopes like I have a nasty cam, then all the sudden for a few seconds it will start running smooth, then start stammering again. I believe that incosistent smooth then rough then smooth is the wonderful computer.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Ken . . .

P.S. still up in the air, and camara ready if needed

Usually when it misfires real bad its because you have them switched to the wrong side. PS I live in lilburn and have a lift and also have American racing longtubes Call me if you want to check my wiring layout Scott 404-886-6735

Thanks so much Scott. 15 min on your lift and it is running like a champ again.

Fixed by switching the o2 sensors to the other sides!

It's nice when things are easy like that. Come to find out we live less than a 1/2 mile away from eachother in the same subdivision. Like I said Ken anytime you need the lift you know where I am. Scott
