I found the actuating lever to switch the trunk lights on/off. Is the switch replacable, or does the entire latch get replaced? (2000 conv't)
Thanks

Try #16608046. It's the "rear compartment lid ajar indicator switch". This is the switch that lets the BCM know the trunk lid is ajar (unlatched) in order for the BCM to turn on the trunk lights.
There is no separate trunk light switch as such.

were is this switch located,2011 gs vert, no trunk lights??
The switch is part of the actual trunk latch. It controls the 2 trunk lights (left and right) and will also activate the interior lights. I think you have to replace the whole mechanism since the switch is integral. Make sure you don't just have a light(s) issue versus the switch. Could be the BCM but if you want to test the actual switch for continuity I can post the pin out for the switch if you need it. The last person I helped on this just had a bad switch. Mr. Sam

This is the C5 section not C6, but the switch is probably part of the trunk lid release solenoid assembly, much like the C5s.
I would think you need to be sure you're looking at the C6 convertible section for it, as the coupes and hardtop (Z06) may be different, i.e. verts have only one latch assembly and coupes have two.
