Skip shift eliminator

Gents, quick question.

Will a skip shift elim from a 98+ f-body work on a 01 Z06?

I'm assuming its the same thing since its the same trans. Anyone have vis on this?

I'm not sure, but I just use a resistor from radio shack in mine. Works fine and is cheap.

$.99 for 5 assuming you have the zip tie and electrical tape already.

Can't hurt to try it. So long as the connectors are the same (and they should be) it should work fine. Worst that can happen, the car will throw a code indicating the skip shift solenoid is not responding. If it does, clear the code and put on a Corvette CAGS eliminator, but I can't see any reason why the F-Body one wouldn't work.
