if you are talking about the plastic trim part not the painted sill, lacquer thinner on a rag will remove the shoe scuffs. :chevy

I use WD40 to remove scuffs on the plastic parts of the sill. It works pretty well, and believe it or not, the back of the WD40 can even suggests using it for scuff removal!
