I never got any bites in the Audio forum, so...
I thought that I read somewhere the C5 12 disc changers were made by Pioneer? Is this true? I see in the sticky that there are some Rockford head units will control it, but I would really like to know if a Pioneer head unit will control it.

PIONEER was the supplier for the oem 12 disc changers for GM. I don't know why, but there were several model numbers that were used from '97 to '04. I just installed an oem (model #25685332/used C5) PIONEER 12 disc changer in my '04 Z. The oem head unit controls the changer. I can't answer about the ROCKFORD head units.
