Default Vaccum line missing.

I had battery corrosion and found two vaccum lines broke. One that went in the wiring harness I spliced but the other which I think goes behind the intake was gone. Is there anyway to replace this without
removing the intake?

Not really. The intake comes off in about 15 minutes so its easier than you think. Just be very careful to not dump any debris into the heads when you pull off the intake. Then use a vacuum to remove the junk and dirt you will find under there. Then, carefully clean the seals and the seal mating surfaces.
The hard plastic line that goes on the rear of the intake is a pain for sure to put back on. I extended mine by about 2 inches which made it a lot easier.

For me it takes almost an hour to get my intake off.

If you have small hands, you can reach back there to feel the vacuum line, however, I don't think it is possible to run a new vacuum line back there without removing the intake manifold.

It took me about 1-1/2 hours to remove and replace the manifold. The hardest part was attaching the vacuum line. While you have it off you might want to consider replacing the oil pressure sending unit.

Correct me if I am wrong, but the one that goes into the large wire harness is the one that goes to the back of the manifold. It was a pain in the backside to find as I had to cut WAY back into the loom to find it. The other one goes through the firewall into the AC unit. Am I right or wrong?

If you have spliced into the vacuum line that enters the wiring loom that passes towards the engine, that is the line that is hopefully connected to the intake. When I spliced into this line, I was able to suck on the end of the vacuum line and clearly taste gas fumes so I knew it was hooked up to the intake still.

Hope this helps. Do a search for battery leak and I think you will find some very good pics.

Do you currently have the fender off out of curiousity?

I agree with the oil sending unit, they are fragile and break easily. $20 and you will have a new one.
