No joke bro, but I got a quote for my x-pipe and exhaust, headers and manifold from a place in Lauderdale and I was quoted a minimum of 16 man hours at 85 an hour. Thats why I put the manifold up for sale. I was told the headers and exhaust would be about 8-10. I am getting another quote from a place in Jupiter that specializes in vettes, but just for the exhaust and headers.
Thanks.
Dude- Call HorsePower Sales in Pompano Beach, FL...speak to Roger...tell him Byte_me Bob said to call...they do great work and I would trust NO ONE else working on my vette...they have done a lot of work for me and are also forum members\vendors here...
I wouldn't waste the time or money on shorties. As far as the install though, I helped my buddy swap out the entire exhaust on one of his C6's (he's selling it, so he took off the LT's x-pipe catback and put stock back on). We did it in his garage, no lift, just a couple of jack's and jack stands. Took about two hours start to finish. I can't see shorties taking much longer than an hour if you know what you're doing, two if you don't. It doesn't take much to remove bolts, swap parts and put bolts back in.
As far as the op stating that he wants to hit 12's. Shorties won't help. A stall, gears, and dr's will do the trick. Worked for me.
