Default Powerbond balancer???

As I was removing the powerbond UD balancer from the car it slipped out of my hands and onto the ground. I figured it would have been ok but in fact it did deform one of the outer edges (bent in). the belt still fits fine but will any deformities on the balance cause problems?

That is a question that only trial can really answer. More than likely there won't be enough off-balance to be noticeable. If there are any sharp edges it may eat your belt. I would probably file down any sharp edges and go ahead and use it. You might post a picture to get more opinions.

I'll get a picture up later today. As you mentioned, I don't think the deformity will cause any type of unbalance since no mass has been removed. After looking at the balancer in detail, the front edge was damaged as well. Once again, the edge is just pushed in some. Good idea filing down any sharp edges.
