Default Inside the Halltech C5 Killer Bee Intake......

I recently purchased a Halltech Killer Bee C5 conversion intake from Jim Hall to replace my TRAP. I thought I would post some pictures of it compared to the TRAP. I'm not sure, but I think the TRAP air bridge is the same as used on the Stinger.

I'm installing this when I get a final few fuel system pieces to finish up my Tony Mamo ported FAST 90 and ported LS2 throttle body install. I'll be posting the results of my heads, cam, intake, and CAI install in a few weeks.

Side by side comparison of TRAP and Killer Bee air bridge. The Killer Bee uses the Halltech 103mm MAF sensor housing and 06- MAF sensor. Note the throttle body silicone coupler is not installed on the Killer Bee, so you can add 2.5" to it's length.

Front comparison of the two air bridges. Note the extended air filter 'nozzle' on the Killer Bee. Note: This is the newest version of the air bridge that moves the filter farther down than the previous version.

The business end of the Halltech 103mm MAF housing and sensor. It's huge to say the least.

Side by side comparison of the old Warhead filter v. the new Killer Bee filter. The new Killer Bee filter is much higher quality than the Warhead. Note the velocity stack molded into the air bridge entrance of the filter.

The Halltech TRAP isn't available any longer, but comparing new price of each it's close. The differences are visually subtle, but make a huge difference in quality and installation. The new filter is worth the price of admission alone when comparing it to the Warhead.

The Callaway Honker and Halltech Venom both relocate the stock Delphi MAF in front of the throttle body. The C5 Killer Bee uses the Halltech specific 103mm MAF housing and 06 - 07 MAF Sensor.
