Others have observed this as well. It seems that it is due to the projection of a flat HUD image onto the gentle curve of the windshield. It looks slightly tilted if you are not sitting perfectly straight in front of the HUD image, and you can make it "tilt" left and right as you lean in either direction. So bottom line is this is normal.
