In the picture below you can see the bolt I'm talking about. It is on the bottom of the lower A-arm. There is a place for a trox wrench in the top of the bolt that you need to hold when putting the nut back on. Can someone tell me what size torx wrench I need since I don't have one in that size and don't want to buy anything I don't need right before Christmas. Thanks.
Re: What size torx wrench do I need? (99 Corvette)
Now I'm really confused  The torx wrench I used on the sway bar end links was a T40, but when I put it in the top of the a-arm bolt it would spin freely like it was too small. I'm thinking there was a rock or something in the hole or that I grabbed the next smallest torx wrench I have and thought it was the biggest (T40) Wish me luck, I need it

I normally would do just that, but I hate shopping at Christmas time :mad I have a feeling I just did something wrong and didn't get the wrench in good enough.
Try a 6mm allen wrench instead of the torx. Get two and cut the short end off of one. Then you can use a ratchet and 6mm socket to turn the bolt. The torx didn't work on my 2001.
