Default Valley cover replacement
When I swap out heads on my 97 this summer should I swap out for a newer valley cover? I haven't had any knock issues, just wondering since I'll be there.

your upgrading heads so why not upgrade valley cover.

Why not? Keep in mind you'll have to cut the block for clearance but I hear it's a pretty easy task. Gets rid of a lot of hose.
