Default Goodbye wagons

My wheels arrived today, the fronts look great but the rears arent perfect. One has a small dent on the lip and the other has some nics on the lip. I bought them from a forum vendor, Im sure they will take care of the wheels without a problem. Heres a pic.......

Picture of dented lip, what do you think?

It doesn’t look like the dent will affect anything, but if it was me, I would contact the vendor to swap them for perfect wheels. I once had another problem with one of my wheels from a forum vendor and when I contacted them, they took care of it immediately with no cost to me.

Good luck,

Clayton from Las Vegas

ps: Beautiful wheels

Thanks, I was thinking the same thing. I dont think the dent will affect anything. I feel entitled to unblemished wheels. I called the vendor today and still havent received a call back yet. I will try again Monday.

I sorta went through the same mess when I switched to C6 Z06 wheels. Bought mine from Mid america, they were Factory Reproduction brand. Of the 2 fronts sent, 1 was pitted something aweful and the 2nd was a differnt style replica all together, had a different rim and spoke style. Sent both back and they replaced them with a great set of fronts. Really changes the whole look of the car.

unless they pick up the tab for return shipping, i would just ask them for a partial credit. they should not be selling dinged wheels as new.

the wheels should be fine, however. many DD wheels get dinged up all the time and they don't get ruined.

Keep us posted because how the forum vendor handles this may determine if somebody else buys from them.

The wheels I bought were:

17x9.5 (front)
18x10.5 (rear)

These will be good for most 275/40/17 (front) and 295-305/35/18 (rear) tires.

The vendor and I are still talking, he wants me to pay return shipping and give me a 50.00 store credit toward my next purchase. There is much more to this situtation, but that kind of sums it up. I get kind of pissed when ever we talk. Going to give it another day.
